About Plumtree Plants
Premium Plants and Flowers
Located at 2281 W Elk Ave, Elizabethton, TN 37643, Plumtree Plants operates as a garden center serving Elizabethton in Tennessee. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Elizabethton, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Tennessee, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–5 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Plumtree Plants at (828) 766-7878; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 8 reviews, which is a strong result for a garden center in Elizabethton and suggests consistent service.
Elizabethton is in Tennessee, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Elizabethton follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

They have the best selections of flowers at cheaper prices than Lowe's or anywhere else! The people that run it are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. I hate seeing them leave every year & always excited when they come back the following year 🌹🌺🌷🪷

I came here yesterday on a whim because I’ve noticed this nursery for a while and finally found time to stop by. I was greeted immediately, and asked if I needed any help. Usually you can tell when someone means it, and they sure did. The sweet garden expert that works there helped me find amazing perennials after I told her what I wanted my garden to generally look like and explained that I’m only on my second year ever designing our flower beds. I felt like the people here genuinely concern themselves to help their customers unlike some other larger privately owned establishments in Johnson City. This is most likely the only place I will be buying my plants from now on. I really wish I remembered the name of the woman who helped me, but I know it starts with a C and she was so amazingly kind and helpful.
